The winter breeze brushing though the skies of Bangkok as my dad and I set off for the Thailand Motorshow 2009. It was the 5th of December, last month of the year. Also father's day here. My dad and I drove our Toyota Wish MPV all the way to Challenger Arena in Mueng Thong Thani, heading for the car show. First feelings; I knew that this year is going to be different, possibly from new car models, the res-session, and my rising photography skills. I was seeking to get some publicity form my photography(only the good ones, duh?) and yet to be able to afford a car for myself. I'm targeting the Honda Freed MPV, Mitsubishi Lancer EX and etc....
We took the raised-express way to Challenger Aerna, Mueng Thong Thani. Over the years, many events have been held here. And many motorshows as well. Unfortunately, I forgot to take snaps of the arena due to my over-excitement.
When we took a downramp, we expected bumper to bumper traffic. But we were lucky, it was quite clear and we found a parking space in a field beside the arena. Walked over to the arena across the street from the field. As we arrived in front of the arena, there was a whole lineup of the new Mitsubishi Lancer EX(as seen in photograph above).
Then, we entered the arena to buy 2 tickets for ourselves. There was a huge crowd of people, I mean, HUGE, like in capitals! Streams of people walking back and forth, in and out, or even up and down! Nah, just kidding! There's no Escher stairs in here! To make facts straight here, the Challenger Arena was PACKED!
